I can’t believe we’re over halfway

This thing is flying by at light speed. Damn.

Last night marked the halfway point for this year’s Festival…at least in number of days. The beauty of the Fringe, however, is that we have a huge number of shows left…hopefully I’ll get to see a couple.

Last night I almost got creamed while racing a Segway down Jackson Street. (I’m renaming it Jackass Street in honor of the idea to race at top Segway speed in the dark of night). It was mildly terrifying, but the important part is that I won the race. Eat that, Sadie and Megan. And that was just the beginning of the Fringe Olympics. What a ridiculous night. (ridiculous photos here http://cincinnati.metromix.com/bars-and-clubs/event_photo_gallery/fringe-olympics/1222397/content)

Two days ago, I spent an entire day being made fun of for wearing shorts…or was it for wearing socks…or was it because I have the most chic-ly dressed staff in all of Cincinnati. I think it must be that last one. What with the ripped jeans and hippie hats, and tucked in t-shirts, I can see how they would frown upon my wearing the socks that do more than just poke out of my shoes with a little ball on the back. I like to just wear the shorts one day a year to remind myself why I never wear shorts. Thank you to everyone who helped me remember.

Today we had a rehearsal for the awards ceremony on Saturday night…starting around 11ish. I can’t really say anymore, but, you’re going to want to be there for it.

I must now return to my rigorous curtain speech-ing schedule. Thanks for Fringing and I’ll see you soon.
